Last Week This Happened (3.20-3.26.16)

Articles of interest from last week include:

On Tuesday, March 22, Brussels was hit by a bomb attack authorities believe was in retaliation for an arrest made relating to the Paris attacks a few days earlier.  Several people died and hundreds more were injured.  In the few days since, authorities have arrested more people in connection with this and the Paris attacks.

On Wednesday, March 23, new debris was found that may belong to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 that mysteriously disappeared almost two years ago.

On Thursday, March 24, 48 more bikers have been indicted for their part in the Waco shooting last year.  This brings the total to 106 bikers indicted.

On Friday, March 25, more than 800 hostages were rescued by Nigerian Troops.

She knows God equips her for her journey, and does her best to trust in His plan for that journey, and not to judge others on their journeys…unless the waist of their pants is at their butt cheeks; then she thinks they should pull those puppies up. Or if somebody says she eats too much chocolate; then she just can’t be friends with them anymore. But she will pray for them. Week in Review, 3.13-3.19.16

Last week on inquisitr.com, I published these four articles:

Published 3.15.16 on the sad Iditarod crash that killed one sled dog and injured others.

Published 3.14.16 on an American from Virginia who defected from fighting with the Daesh (ISIS) after only two months.

I hope you enjoyed.  If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comments section.  Let’s get some conversation going.  As always, feel free to share if you read something you liked!  Think about your world and continue to ask what you can do for it…that was a good question the first time it was asked and it continues to be a good question.

Update for the Week

So, I started a new writing gig with inquisitr.com a couple weeks ago and am a little behind the 8-ball but will from here on out, once a week, be posting the links to my newest journalistic prowess for ease of viewing pleasure (like the big words?) [insert sarcastic smiley face here].  I will say that this has been very interesting so far, and I look forward to doing it more, because I get to hop around topics ranging from serious to light:  celebrity, movies, law enforcement, terrorism, politics…you get the gist.  But I need views, so please feel free to share anything you read that you like!

So, without further adieu, and since I’m a couple weeks behind, here they are from the beginning.  I am always interested in feedback.  I believe that’s how people grow.  Constructive criticism is always welcome.  Nice.  Constructive.  Bullies will be found and dealt with accordingly, and their bodies will never be found…oh wait, that’s my next fiction piece.

Enjoy.

Published 3.11.16 on the new Captain America:  Civil War movie being released in the US on May 6!

Published 3.10.16.  A treasure trove of information has been obtained listing a plethora of personal information about at least 22,000 Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.  Gold!

Published 3.9.16.  J.K. Simmons has been added to the cast of the new Justice League movie. Love him!  I think he’s such a great actor.

Published 3.8.16.  This is so sad.  She survived the Boston Marathon bombing and died in such a needless manner.  Hopefully the memory of the spirit of what kind of person Victoria McGrath was will live on.

Published 3.3.16.  North Korea continues to thumb their nose at accountability and is a growing concern for the safety of the rest of the world.  Their leader really is like an overgrown child with too few spankings.

Published 2.29.16.  Another sad one…rookie police officer Ashley Guindon was shot and killed on her first official day on duty.

Published 2.28.16.  Acting like kids in a sandbox, the battle among Congress and POTUS continues with one side trying to fill the empty Supreme Court seat created by the unexpected death of Justice Scalia, and the other side vowing to fight it and hold off until a new POTUS is elected.  My thoughts:  everybody needs to focus more on doing their jobs.

Published 2.26.16.  As always, there are at least two sides to every story.  Apple, FBI, privacy, government…this is a precedent-setting situation.

Published 2.25.16.  Delta Force is one of the worst kept secrets but a truly bad-ass group of individuals.  Known as “The Unit”, they even did a TV show of the same name based on the group.  All I can think is thank God for them, even if they don’t officially exist.

I hope you enjoyed.  If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comments section.  Let’s get some conversation going.  As always, feel free to share if you read something you liked!  Think about your world and continue to ask what you can do for it…that was a good question the first time it was brought up and it continues to be a good question.
